PRUE REPORTS IN

Hey all, its me Pruders here to tell you that I am all better and feeling like the superstar that I know I am! I recovered so well that I actually got to go to my furever home. Don't get me wrong, The Ruck and Tuck Inn is a great vacation spot, but my new digs are superb!
You won't believe all the things I am doing now that just hurt to much to do before. I have perfected my ball playing and not only do I chase it, but I bring it back and when I am done teasing my AMAZING new mom with the ball I drop it on the floor and nudge it over to her with my nose. I know, I know, how cute is that!
There is this cat at my new home, I will just call her Taco... because that is her name.. and she is egg'in me on a little bit so I will have to figure out how to get her to leave me alone. In the mean time, exercise is good and what better way to get it than to chase the cat around once in a while!
All the neighbors on my new street love me already. One of them even sent my mom a copy of the song Dear Prudence by the Beatles. Did you know that bugs could sing? I sure didn't, but I do like the name of the song and from what I understand that group of bugs were pretty good! You should check out the song lyrics so you can sing about me too.
Another thing I have started to do all on my own is jump up on the couch. You don't have any idea how big of a deal this is. Do you know before my tail got fixed that I couldn't even stand up tall on my back legs? And now, well not only can I stand up on them but I can jump up and lie on my special blanket on the couch whenever I want. My mom calls me a 'princess'. Finally someone who recognizes what I truly am!
Now, before I say my goodbyes to all of my fans, I have to tell you one last thing... I get to sleep in a BED. Not on the floor either! Neener Nanny... I have some special steps that I just figured out were for me. They are nice and wide so I don't fall off the sides and just perfect for my little legs. so now when it is bedtime I can just walk up my steps and cuddle with the best mom a special bulldog princess like myself could have ever found!

Thanks everyone for reading about me and for all of your support! I couldn't have done it without you.

Bully Blessings,
Prue

PRUE UPDATE

Hi my fans,
Prue here! I thought it was time to give you a little update on my well being! I had my surgery, 3 of them to be exact. They got my tail all fixed up, took care of my girly parts and then decided that one of my eyes needed fixed so I got it at all ends. I have been strong though and am getting along just great. I will get my stitches out next week and then I will be on the final stretch of recovery. I will have to keep having those eye drops twice a day forever though, just so you know.
I must say that with that tail being gone I am sure a lot more active and willing to try more things. What I didn't tell anyone is that it really bothered me and now that it is fixed watch out!
My newest trick is 'fetch'. I know bullys aren't supposed to act like retrievers, but I enjoy giving the Labradork here at the Ruck and Tuck Inn a run for their money. Sometimes I like to freak everyone out and bring it back so I can chase it down again. Those skin people get all excited when I bring it back, which then gets me some extra pats on the head!
I have finally got it through to the Inn Keepers that I love having an exercise pen to rest in instead of that icky crate. I don't even have to have the door closed, I just like to have a bed in there and have my very own spot to go to when I need to nap. (which is about 75% of the day!) And if they say I need to go to bed I take advantage of an extra nap and never say no!
We have lots of visitors coming to see me every day and all of them are my friends. I especially like the kids. Did you know children are far more likely to feed you a treat than an adult? Keep that in mind so you too will know the proper people to follow around too!
Ok, well I am going back to my bed now, I am healing you know! I will give you another update after I get my stitches out.

Bully Blessings,
Prue

Welcome Prudence

Hey everyone my name is Prudence... but since we are friends, you can call me Prue! I like my name and come running when I hear it without hesitation. I turned 6 this past September, but I look and act great for my age. No, someone didn't tell me that just because I was an older woman, it really is true! My skin family had to send me to Cascade because they couldn't afford to take care of me anymore.

I have a small list of issues that are going to have to be addressed very soon. Right now I am on some great antibiotics so that my infections can heal up enough to do surgery on me. I am going to need my tail amputated because it is in very bad shape. While I am under they are going to spay me so that I don't have any more puppies! I have dry eye in both eyes which will require me to have drops twice a day for the rest of my days, but other than that the doc says I am in primo condition!

There are lots of toys here at The Ruck and Tuck Inn, and I have been showing them what I like best. Right now I like to mess with Ruckus and steal his favorite soccer ball. I tend to be set into my place fairly quickly so I won't be doing that very much, that Ruckus is VERY pretective of his soccer ball. BUT, good news, there is another one that has ropes hanging off of it that I can swing around really fast while I try to run across the room. These rooms here at the Inn are pretty big and boy do I get tired! I can't wait to dig into the bottom of the toy basket and see whatelse I can drag out. I also love to chew on bones, that might explain why the doctor gave me an awesome bill of dental health!

Oh ya, and get out the leash baby because I love to go outside for walks! My potty habits are perfect incase you were wondering. I know right where the door is and haven't missed it once since I came here. My foster mom is very excited about that!I had to be left alone for a while this evening and I didn't even want to go into that crate, but once I was in I was ok and took a really nice nap! Ok, well I am going to check out my room and make sure it is up to my standards. A girl has to be comfortable you know. Afterall, I am going to have to sleep here for a couple months while I heal up and get a perfect bill of health.

Keep an eye on my blog, I have a feeling I will be doing many updates. I have been hiding in a shell and have begun to come out! WOOOOHOOOO, this is going to be a fun ride!
